Over the years, Baytna Society has delivered high-quality services that have positively impacted the lives of thousands of beneficiaries. The society's services span health, education, psychological support, and rehabilitation, ensuring comprehensive support for all age and community groups. Below are the highlights of its major contributions:

1. Physical and Occupational Therapy Center: The Heart of Health and Rehabilitation Support

The Physical and Occupational Therapy Center is one of the society’s cornerstone facilities, providing specialized services for neurological, musculoskeletal, and orthopedic cases, targeting all community segments regardless of gender. The center aims to empower beneficiaries to safely resume their daily activities, enhancing their independence and active participation in society.

In the past period, approximately 696 individuals benefited from physical and occupational therapy services. These sessions significantly improved mobility and reduced pain, especially among patients with cerebral palsy and neurological injuries. The center also offers home visits for beneficiaries unable to attend in person and distributes medical assistive devices.

2. Psychological and Social Support Services: Building Resilience and Strength

Mental health is one of the society's core priorities. It provided psychological and social support services to 89 beneficiaries, including children and their families. These services include primary psychological care for abused children and war victims, aiming to improve their mental health, modify their behavior, and help them adapt to their social circumstances.

3. Nursing Services: High-Quality Healthcare Support

The society offered nursing services to approximately 808 individuals, focusing on those with complex health issues such as diabetic foot ulcers and pressure sores. The professional nursing team provided regular wound care to ensure healing and improve the quality of life for these patients.

4. Health and Legal Awareness: Empowering Lives Through Knowledge

Recognizing the importance of health and legal education as part of community development, the society educated 483 individuals, enhancing their understanding of their health and legal rights and enabling them to make informed decisions about their daily lives.

5. Social Services: Comprehensive Support for Vulnerable Groups

One of the society’s key services is social support, benefiting 2,284 individuals. These services include case file preparation, field research to reduce therapy session costs, referral services, and coordination with partner organizations to ensure beneficiaries receive the maximum possible support.

6. Speech and Audiology Clinic: Bridging Communication Gaps

The Speech and Audiology Clinic served around 515 individuals, offering evaluation and treatment for speech and language disorders across all age groups. These services helped beneficiaries improve their communication skills and better interact with their surroundings.

7. Education and Training Program: Building Skills and Nurturing Talent

This program provides support for children with learning difficulties, benefiting 71 children, in addition to offering training courses for youth and graduates. 74 young men and women have benefited from these training programs, which aim to develop their skills and increase their employability in the job market.

8. The Child Cultural Forum: A Platform for Creativity and Development

The forum offers extracurricular activities to nurture children’s talents in areas such as drawing, music, and creative writing. Over the past period, 427 children have benefited from the forum, helping them boost their self-confidence and develop their skills.

9. Autism and Developmental Disorders Program: Supporting Special Needs

The program provided rehabilitative services to 17 children with autism spectrum disorder through therapy and educational sessions using specialized programs designed to enhance their social and cognitive skills.

Why Does the Society Need Your Support Now?

Despite its remarkable achievements, Baytna Society faces significant challenges that threaten its ability to continue. Many of its facilities have suffered severe damage, leading to the suspension of critical services that thousands of people relied on. One of the most affected facilities is the Al-Hanan Center for Children with Autism and Psychological Disorders, which previously provided a safe educational and rehabilitative environment for dozens of children and their families.

The closure of this center leaves these children and their families without support, exacerbating their suffering and exposing them to additional challenges.
